CINCINNATI — Former University of Tennessee baseball player Nick Senzel is hitless through the first two games of the 2020 baseball season.
Senzel, a center fielder for Cincinnati, however, did walk and score a run in the Reds’ 6-4 loss to the Detroit Tigers Saturday. He went 0-for-3 for Cincinnati (1-1).
A Farragut High School graduate, Senzel went 0-4 in Cincinnati’s 7-1 victory over Detroit Friday at Great American Ball Park.

Senzel made his Major League debut for the Reds on May 3, 2019. He posted a solid rookie season for Cincinnati, batting .256 while clubbing 12 homers and driving in 42 runs.
