Former University of Tennessee basketball player Admiral Schofield debuted with his new team Saturday in an NBA preseason game.
Schofield had two rebounds and an assist in the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 121-108 victory over San Antonio.
He played 18 minutes.
Schofield spent last season as a two-way player for Washington, splitting time with the Wizards, and the Capital City Go-Go, the team’s NBA G League affiliate.
He played well for Washington in the 2020 NBA Central Florida bubble, but was traded to the Thunder on the league’s 2020 draft night.
Schofield was a two-time All-Southeastern Conference performer at Tennessee in 2018 and 2019. He was honorable mention All-America in 2019.
