Veteran NFL QB, Andy Dalton, says Bryce Young uses his height to his advantage

Bryce Young’s height was talked about in a negative way this offseason, but his backup in Carolina says its boosts his confidence.

The Carolina Panthers selected Bryce Young first overall in the 2023 NFL draft, despite many analysts talking about how his height will negatively impact his abilities at the professional level.

Young stands at only 5-foot-10, which is shorter than most NFL starters. His height did not hinder him in college, as he managed to win a conference championship, make a national championship appearance and won the Heisman Trophy.

Veteran NFL quarterback and projected backup to Young in Carolina, Andy Dalton, spoke with members of the media about Young.

Dalton stated that he doesn’t believe his height changes how he plays and that it might actually work in his favor because he’s able to say that he’s shorter than others and is still better.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Young as the 2023 regular season approaches.
