The 2022 NFL draft is taking place April 28-30 in Paradise, Nevada.
Former Vol wide receiver Velus Jones Jr. has been drafted. He was selected 71st overall in the third round by Chicago.
Jones Jr. appeared in 23 games for the Vols from 2020-21, totaling 84 receptions, 1,087 receiving yards, 10 receiving touchdowns and 31 rushing yards.
He recorded 1,026 yards and one touchdown on 41 kick return attempts. The former Vol also totaled 272 yards on 18 punt return attempts.
Jones Jr. played at Southern Cal (2016-19) before transferring to the Vols.
