Vanderbilt S Maxwell Worship ‘excelled’ at Titans’ local pro day

The Titans hosted Vanderbilt safety Maxwell Worship at their local prospect pro day earlier this month.

Vanderbilt safety Maxwell Worship was one of several prospects to take part in the Tennessee Titans’ local prospect pro day earlier this month, and he apparently drew positive reviews.

According to Aaron Wilson of Click2Houston, Worship “excelled” at the event. He also took part in the Miami Dolphins’ local prospect pro day.

The 6-foot, 207-pound defender, who is slated to be a Day 3 pick, per John Vogel of NFL Draft Blitz, has the versatility to play safety and linebacker, although his best work will likely come when playing in the box. He also wore the green dot during his days at Vandy.

Barring the Titans parting ways with Kevin Byard, the team doesn’t have a need at safety at the moment with Byard and Amani Hooker set to start in 2023.

However, the linebacker position isn’t as secure, with the Titans set to have Azeez Al-Shaair and Monty Rice atop the depth chart, two players who haven’t had full-time starting roles in their respective careers.
