What about these names?

We all remember this story from a year ago.

Auburn was waiting patiently for Donovan Kaufman to enter the transfer portal and lead the Vanderbilt COmmadores and follow his former head coach Derek Mason to Auburn.

He did and found a starting role in his first year on the Plains.

Now, multiple Vanderbilt defensive backs have followed suit and will enter the transfer portal. Brendon Harris and Gabe Jeudy-Lally are leaving Vanderbilt.

Harris is a former 4-star recruit that was originally committed to Tennessee before flipping and could be a real contributor for a better defense.

Perhaps we could see Mason go after more of his former players and help fill some holes that now exist in the defensive backfield after Ladarius Tennison announced he was going to transfer.

Also, Vanderbilt wide receiver Cam Johnson has also entered the transfer Portal. The 6-foot, 200-pound receiver had 34 catches for 327 yards and 4 touchdowns in 2021. In 2020, he had 56 catches for 545 yards and 3 touchdowns.

It’s going to be a crazy few weeks.
