Vance Joseph could replace Jonathan Gannon as Eagles DC

After he interviews for the Broncos’ DC job, Joseph will also interview with the Eagles for the job Jonathan Gannon left.

The Arizona Cardinals made Jonathan Gannon their new head coach. That left the Philadelphia Eagles with a void as they no longer have a defensive coordinator.

With his hiring, Cardinals defensive coordinator Vance Joseph was released from his contract to seek another job.

He could end up replacing Gannon as Philly’s DC.

He has one job interview lined up. According to Mike Klis of Denver’s 9News, Joseph will interview Friday for the Denver Broncos’ vacant defensive coordinator position. Joseph, of course, was the Broncos’ head coach from 2017-2018.

After that, he will also interview with the Philadelphia Eagles, although the specific day was not stated.

Joseph getting the job would be interesting because the Cardinals and Eagles play each other in 2023 in Philly. Gannon will get to coach h his former team and Joseph face the team that let him go.
