According to a tweet today from Wisconsin State Journal sports reporter Todd Milewski, Wisconsin Athletic Director Barry Alvarez confirmed that, contrary to some current rumors, there are no discussions of moving or changing the date of October 3’s matchup against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
In an Athletic Board meeting, #Badgers athletic director Barry Alvarez reiterates that UW hasn't had any discussion of moving the football game against Notre Dame from Lambeau Field or changing the date.

The game is set to be played at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin as part of a home-and-home series between the two schools in 2020 and 2021.
Given the ongoing pandemic and the question marks surrounding what football will look like in the fall, a rumor came out a few weeks ago from a Notre Dame media member that there were discussions of moving the game to an alternate location.
Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel wrote after the rumor, though, that UW “insists moving the 2020 game out of Lambeau Field has not been part of any discussions.”
Today’s news echoes that sentiment and bodes well for the Badgers to play their first game in Green Bay since 2016’s contest against the LSU Tigers.
