UTSA vs Troy Duluth Trading Cure Bowl, What’s Going To Happen
UTSA wasn’t shut down last year in the Frisco Bowl loss to San Diego State, but it couldn’t get the job done against a fantastic defense. Troy’s isn’t quite as good as 2021 SDSU, so the offense has to come out fast – like it did in the Sun Belt Championship. Even so, it’ll be the D that has to do the heavy lifting.
But this will be about Frank Harris.
The star Roadrunner QB threw for 255 yards and two scores in last year’s bowl loss, but he wasn’t able to get moving on the ground against the Aztecs. He’ll do a little of everything in this.
The UTSA defense is just mediocre enough to keep this from every getting comfortable, but Harris and the O will get just a little bit more late.
It’ll be a fantastic game. Be angry if it’s not among the best of the bowl season – at least the early part.
