The transfer portal buzz continues to come in for the UCLA Bruins men’s basketball team. The Bruins are one of a handful of programs to show interest in UTSA transfer Christian Tucker.
Tucker averaged 11.3 PPG with 5.4 assists for the UTSA Roadrunners this past season, and he has also heard from the following schools, per Luke Chaney of 247Sports.Â
- Cal
- San Diego State
- Nevada
- Loyola Chicago
- East Carolina
- Temple
- Wyoming
- Samford
- Charleston
- UC Santa Barbara (and others)
After the Roadrunners season came to an end, Tucker penned a heartfelt message to the UTSA fans with his decision to enter the transfer portal:
I would like to thank the UTSA players and coaching staff for believing in me and giving me the chance to play the game that I love. I appreciate everyone who made San Antonio my home away from home. With that being said, I plan to enter my name in the transfer portal. đź–¤ pic.twitter.com/wFPh0CoGAN

Tucker was the second-leading scorer for UTSA. The Roadrunners finished the year just 11-20 and 5-13 in American play, so Tucker is likely looking to have a chance to compete for the NCAA Tournament berth.
His Final game at UTSA came against Temple where he had 15 points and four assists in the loss.
