The Lakers are now riding a three-game losing skid following a four-game win streak. L.A. is 17-26 against the spread (ATS), and while they’ve covered five of their last 10 games, they’ve failed to cover in three straight outings.
The Jazz are 20-22-1 ATS. Utah has failed to cover in four of its last five games. The Jazz are led by G Donovan Mitchell who sits seventh in the Association with 25.8 points per game.

BET on the LAKERS (+160).
James went on the record and said the Lakers need to be better after their discouraging defeat in Denver.
Los Angeles has been horrible on the road this season, and they’ve lost two straight away from home. It’s been a completely different trend at Crypto.com where they’re 14-11.
Los Angeles has the size in C Deandre Jordan to keep C Rudy Gobert off the glass as well.
Couple that with defensive-minded players like F Avery Bradley and I’d give the edge to Los Angeles. G Russell Westbrook should also have an easy matchup against either Mitchell or veteran G Mike Conley.
Most metrics point to Utah being the better side, but James has taken his play to the next level lately with 28.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game this season.
I’ll take the underdogs at home following an exclamation of their woes.
Against the spread
“LEAN” on the LAKERS +4.5 (-107).
James is either going to carry this team to victory or allow another massive blow.
I’d prefer the money line. The Lakers haven’t had a game finish within four points in more than a month, making the +190 the only great value for a team-specific side.
Over/Under
“LEAN” to the OVER 230.5 (-112).
While the Lakers money line is the best bet in this game, I’d prefer the Over as well. Both teams have covered the Over at a greater than 50% rate.
The Lakers are 24-18-1 O/U and the Jazz are 23-19-1 O/U. The Lakers are 16-9 O/U while averaging 113.6 points per game at home as well.
