Brentwood (TN) WR Walker Merrill
Merrill, a 4-star prospect, helped his Brentwood Bruins to a 24-14 win over Bartlett on Friday, advancing to the state championship for the first time since 2002.
Merrill recorded six receptions for 28 yards in the win, and Brentwood now will head to Cookeville. They will play Oakland for a 6A state championship. Brentwood faced Oakland earlier in the season, losing 37-0.
