UT plans to bring students back to campus this fall.

KNOXVILLE – University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Chancellor Donde Plowman announced on Wednesday a decision to bring students back on campus this fall.

The announcement comes within the coronavirus pandemic that forced UT students to finish the spring semester taking online classes.

UT’s decision was made in coordination with University of Tennessee System President Randy Boyd and the other system chancellors.

“Chancellor Plowman announced that UT plans to bring students back to campus this fall,” UT’s Twitter account posted on Wednesday. “The health and safety of our students and employees are our first priority, and we will continue to rely on health professionals & data to guide decisions.”
