USC won without forcing a turnover against Washington State; Trojans answer a big question

We all asked the question, “What’s going to happen when #USC does not force a turnover from the opponent?” We got our answer against Wazzu.

This question was out there. It was an obvious and necessary question to ask, given how many interceptions the USC Trojans collected in the first several games of the 2022 season. The question was simple: “Would USC be able to win when not getting a takeaway from the opposition?”

Would USC be able to thrive and persevere and find solutions when an opponent did not turn the ball over? Would the Trojans be fine even when Chance Nolan wasn’t there to drop four interceptions into USC’s lap? Would the Trojans’ defense fall off a cliff and suffer when not getting free possessions from an inaccurate quarterback?
