USC set to offer Notre Dame decommit CJ May

USC is battling Auburn for a player who decommitted from Notre Dame. This is really spicy.

Four-star edge rusher C.J. May decommited from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. This move should spark the USC Trojans to jump all over the 2025 top-100 prospect with an offer soon.

May is a Highland Home (Alabama) High School product. May is ranked as a four-star recruit by On3, 247Sports and ESPN, and all three rank him as a top-300 caliber prospect. Rivals ranks him as a three-star prospect.

The 6-foot-4, 225-pound junior hasn’t been shy about looking into other options. Georgia has offered May, but Auburn specifically has been making a strong push for May. He has visited the Tigers three times since committing to Notre Dame in September.

Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi State, Syracuse and Texas A&M are showing interest as well. He is in no rush to make another decision.

“I am going to take visits and take my time. My recruitment is opened back up and whoever shows interest in me, I will show interest in me. I am slowing things down and making sure I find the best fit for me.”
