USC offers 2025 Texas-based edge rusher Chad Woodfork

USC can never have too much pass rushing help on its roster.

Chad Woodfork is a four-star defensive end out of Humble (Texas) Summer Creek High School.

Woodfork holds over 20 offers. Other than USC, many other schools have jumped into the mix, including Baylor, Houston, Georgia, Duke, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Texas, UCF, Vanderbilt and more.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Woodfork is rated the No. 44 overall prospect and the No. 6 edge prospect, according to the 247Sports composite. He is the No. 66 overall prospect and the No. 9 edge in the 247Sports rankings.

In his sophomore season, he collected 23 tackles, four tackles for loss, and three sacks. Woodfork is from Humble, Texas. The Trojans are looking to steal him from the South and get him out to Los Angeles.

The USC defensive line needs plenty of reinforcements as the Trojans try to build a championship-level roster. This is one valuable piece in the puzzle, a building block for the Men of Troy as they move toward the Big Ten.
