The USC offensive line is probably the most pivotal position group for the Trojans and their football team in 2024. Defensive line is hugely important too, but the offensive line simply has to thrive in order for all the pieces to come together on this team.
Consider the simple point that if USC’s offensive line doesn’t get the job done in 2024, Miller Moss probably won’t have the comfort zone he needs to lead the USC offense and make the throws he needs to make for this group to become potent and effective. If the offensive line doesn’t road grade in the running game, the Trojans can’t control the ball in the Big Ten and reduce exposure to a defense which has good talent but is short on depth and needs to be able to make it through the season with minimal injuries. The offensive line can really set the table for this USC season, especially by keeping the ball away from the opposing team and givin the Trojans’ defense plenty of rest during games.
At 41:40 in our YouTube show at The Voice of College Football, we talked more about the USC offensive line. Hayden Treter, Elijah Page, Tobias Raymond — they all have size and NFL ability for the run game. The offensive line is getting bigger. We also talked about recruiting prospect Aaron Dunn from this weekend’s official visit:
