North Texas quarterback Dylan Gebbia has transferred to USC. Lincoln Riley landed the former Southern California product last week to fill out the roster and depth chart at the QB position.
Gebbia is a redshirt freshman, USC being his third college. Gebbia began his career at Hawaii but quickly transferred after the spring to North Texas for the 2023 season.
The 6-foot, 180-pound quarterback attended Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills (Calif.), where he was a three-star recruit as measured by 247Sports. He was also listed as the No. 91 quarterback in the Class of 2022.
Gebbia threw for 2,687 passing yards, 6 interceptions and 20 passing touchdowns in his senior season. He added 559 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns that year.
His brother, Tristan Gebbia, was a quarterback at Nebraska, Ohio State and Oregon State. His father, Richard, was a tight end at Ole Miss.
Dylan Gebbia replaced Miller Moss at quarterback in high school; they both attended Bishop Alemany in Mission Hills.
