USC has an elite group of wide receivers, but just how elite?

Does #USC have the best wide receivers in the #Pac12? In the Big Ten? #B1G questions will be answered this year.

The USC Trojans clearly have one of the best groups of wide receivers in the United States in 2023. However, are the Trojans’ receivers the absolute best in either the Pac-12 or the Big Ten?

Ohio State is such an awesome wide receiver factory that the Trojans would be hard-pressed to exceed the Buckeyes in the Big Ten. With Marvin Harrison Jr. in the OSU receiver room, it’s hard to put the Men of Troy above the Buckeyes in a comparison of future Big Ten competitors.

The much more even-steven debate is whether USC or Washington has the best group of wide receivers in the Pac-12.

You can see how Pro Football Focus ranked teams’ receiver rooms for 2023. Ducks Wire picked up the rankings and offered its own spin on the USC receiver room:

“USC keeps attracting receivers from other schools and they flourish. Both Williams (Oklahoma) and Rice (Colorado) had monster seasons for the Trojans and now they had arguably the best receiver in the Pac-12 with Singer. This group could have Kermit the Frog tossing to them and be successful. But having a reigning Heisman winner makes USC a College Football Playoff contender.”

Whether you think USC should be ranked above or below Ohio State (Big Ten) or Washington (Pac-12), this much is true: The Trojans can change impressions and make their case where it really counts this fall.

They can make a statement on the field.
