USC Dumped on by Iowa in Holiday Bowl

The part I think is as noteworthy as anything is that over the last two years where USC has especially hit the skids, their conference has for the most part been trash.

This from a great follow on Twitter if you’re a college football fan whatsoever, @RedditCFB:

A lot of Iowa information in there as well but USC has gone from being a team that wasn’t far off from playoff contention as little as two seasons ago and are now at best, struggling to stay above water.

Who in the Pac-12 is anything special?

Oregon is good, far from great.  Same for Utah who USC actually beat the tar out of physically back in September.  Washington took a step back this season and Stanford has gone from a power for the last decade to having an embarrassing year themselves and having a huge chunk of their roster enter the transfer portal.

Yet here is USC, not taking advantage of an at best, average conference. Instead they fall right in line with the rest of it and it appears at least from my crow-nest in the mid-west, that there is no end in sight for the Trojans.
