The U.S. men’s national team is in need of a major bounceback result, but it isn’t exactly facing an ideal opponent for that purpose.
Gregg Berhalter’s side was hammered 5-1 by Colombia over the weekend in the first of two friendlies prior to the Copa América.
Now, the USMNT will head to Orlando where it will face none other than tournament favorite Brazil, another major challenge ahead of the team’s first Copa América match on June 23.

For Brazil, this will be the second of two warm-up friendlies ahead of the Copa America. Dorival Júnior’s side beat Mexico 3-2 over the weekend in a thrilling match in College Station, Texas.
The U.S. is in Group C of the Copa América alongside Uruguay, Panama, and Bolivia. Meanwhile, Brazil awaits its start in Group D, where Colombia, Paraguay, and Costa Rica are the competition.
