In the main event of UFC Fight Night 219, Blanchfield (11-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC) submitted former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade in the second round. Entering the week at No. 14 in the USA TODAY SPORTS/MMA Junkie women’s flyweight rankings, Blanchfield propelled herself all the way up to the No. 3 spot, replacing Andrade.
