On Tuesday, three Rutgers men’s lacrosse players were named All-Americans by the USA Lacrosse Magazine. Rutgers long-stick midfielder Ethan Rall got selected First Team All-American, and junior Shane Knobloch received Third Team honors. Also, senior Noah Daniels got an Honorable Mention selection.
The USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American team is the first of three projected All-American teams to be released this postseason, with Inside Lacrosse and USILA announcing their selections later this month.

Rall received his second consecutive First Team All-American selection by the USA Lacrosse Magazine. The Rutgers captain received Second Team All-Big Ten for his efforts throughout the season. The two-time Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week caused 21 turnovers and collected 49 ground balls this season. Ralls, a New York native, set a new program record with 85 caused turnovers.

As for Knobloch, this is the second consecutive season receiving All-American honors by USA Lacrosse Magazine, receiving Honorable Mention All-American last season. The New Jersey native received Second Team All-Big Ten selection for his 21 goals, 17 assists, and 38 points this season. Knobloch had five multi-goal games, including four hat tricks.
In his first season at Rutgers, Noah Daniels made his impact on the defensive end. Daniels had eight goals, three assists, 29 ground balls, and 11 caused turnovers this season. The New York native played 45 games in four seasons at Mount St. Mary’s, receiving a Scholar All-American selection by USILA last year. Daniels finished his career with 25 goals, 11 assists, 133 ground balls, and 39 caused turnovers.
