Former University of Alabama defensive lineman and longtime high school and college football coach Rudy Griffin is the new defensive line coach for Rush Propst at USA Academy.

Griffin previously served as defensive line coach at East Central Community College.
Before his time at ECCC, Griffin spent five seasons as defensive coordinator for Hewitt-Trussville High School in Trussville, Ala.
Griffin played for the University of Alabama from 2005-06 after transferring from The Citadel.
The former SEC defensive lineman joins Jeff Kent (defensive coordinator) and Kenyatta Watson (Director of Football Operations) on Propst’s staff at USA Academy.
USA Academy will kickoff the 2020 season against Riverside Academy Canada on August 22.
