U.S. Open qualifying 2024: 11 notable names trying to make it to Pinehurst, including LIV golfers and Webb Simpson

Some big names will be trying to make it to Pinehurst this week.

It’s known as Golf’s Longest Day, and it’s here again.

June 3 marks the day when hundreds of golfers hoping to qualify for the 2024 U.S. Open have to play 36 holes at various courses around the country. Some of the qualifiers might be regular Joes who are really, really good at golf.

But there are also the pros — including those who play on the LIV tour — who haven’t made it, so they need to go through the local qualifiers like everyone else.

That’s the list we have here as they all compete to be a part of the event in Pinehurst that starts in over a week.
