Urban Meyer has signed his contract, which means it’s time to get to work. However, before that happens he will be introduced to the city of Jacksonville as the Jaguars’ head coach by owner Shad Khan Friday.
As for the time, his news conference will take place at 11:30 a.m. EST via Zoom.

Thursday morning started on a high note for Jags fans as ESPN’s Adam Schefter revealed that the team met with Meyer for a second time Wednesday and had “advanced talks” to move towards sealing the deal. That meeting came after the Jags had already met with Meyer last Friday.
After word got out Thursday afternoon, Twitter user @E_Dilla broke the news that Meyer was in town. Not too soon after that he found his way to TIAA Bank Field around 2:30 p.m. EST.
Plenty of important topics could be answered in the process of Friday’s conference. The most important tidbit that could come from the conference aside from questions about Meyer’s health, the staff, and outlook, is more info on the Jags’ general manager search. At the moment, interim Trent Baalke is temporarily holding things down, but the Jags have yet to say if he’ll officially be their guy or not.
