The Rams still aren’t out of the woods yet with all their COVID-19 cases and more than 20 players on the reserve list, but the outlook is improving. Jalen Ramsey, Odell Beckham Jr., Darrell Henderson Jr. and Dont’e Deayon were all activated recently, but Rob Havenstein, Von Miller, Jordan Fuller and Tyler Higbee are all still on COVID reserve.
And as the Rams’ situation improves day by day, the Seahawks are trending in the opposite direction. They added six players on the reserve list Sunday, bringing their total to eight ahead of Tuesday’s game.
It’s no coincidence that the spread for this game has moved all over the place in the last week due to these complications. The Rams opened as six-point favorites but that didn’t last long. They were 4.5-point favorites last week and it improved to -5.5 on Saturday.
As of Monday, the Rams are 6.5-point favorites against the Seahawks and the over/under is still 45.5 points, according to Tipico Sportsbook.
Tyler Lockett and Alex Collins are two of the Seahawks’ key players who are on COVID-19 reserve, and they’re uncertain to play on Tuesday. The Rams still aren’t in great shape either, with several starters still not cleared.
Sean McVay hopes even more players will come off the list Monday, aiming to get some of his starters back in time for kickoff – even if they’re not able to practice beforehand.
