Updated odds for Titans vs. Chiefs Week 7 matchup

The spread for Titans-Chiefs has gone down during the week.

The Kansas City Chiefs remain road favorites over the Tennessee Titans for their Week 7 matchup at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, but the spread has shrunk slightly during the week.

According to Tipico Sportsbook, the Chiefs are now 4.5-point favorites over the Titans after the spread was originally 5.5. The over/under, which remains at 57.5, is the highest of any Week 7 contest.

The Titans got both good and bad news on the injury front on Friday.

The good news: it looks like wide receivers A.J. Brown and Julio Jones will both suit up. Jones is listed as questionable but did tell reporters, “I feel great. I feel good. I’m excited about Sunday.” Brown has no designation.

The bad news: left tackle Taylor Lewan has been ruled out, and the statuses of outside linebacker Bud Dupree and safety Amani Hooker are both up in the air, with both being listed as questionable.

Not having Lewan is an obvious downgrade for the Titans’ offensive line, and Tennessee’s already suspect defense can ill-afford not to have two of its starters against a high-powered Chiefs passing attack.

Kansas City has four players listed as questionable, including wide receiver Tyreek Hill, guard Joe Thuney, defensive end Chris Jones and cornerback Charvarious Ward.

Ward has missed the last four games, while Jones has missed the previous two. Getting both back would be a big boost to the Chiefs’ struggling defense.

Tennessee and Kansas City will meet in Nissan Stadium in Nashville on Sunday, with kickoff set for noon CT.
