Now that fall camp is thoroughly underway, we’re starting to get some kind of idea of what Michigan football could be this year. While it’ll be tough sledding to rebound after a moribund 2-4 campaign in 2020, the Wolverines have a lot going for them.
Most of the offseason, I’ve said 8-4 would be my season prediction as far as final record, with a good chance at 7-5 if the maize and blue don’t come out of the gates firing on all cylinders. After some conversations both on and off the record, I feel more optimistic about the team, but that doesn’t mean that the final line will be much different, if at all.
Following some of the lines I made in my 10 bold predictions, here are my final game-by-game predictions in advance of the season. Of course, these are subject to change once the season actually begins.
