On Tuesday, the NFL awarded a total of 34 compensatory picks to 14 teams for the 2024 NFL draft. And, as expected, the Carolina Panthers did not receive any extra selections for the annual announcing of names.
They did, however, get a much clearer look at where they’ll be choosing with the ones they’ve already had.
With those 34 new picks comes 34 new wrenches in the queue. The board, of course, will now look a tad different and a tad heavier following the added ammunition at the bottoms of the third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh rounds.
So as the final touches have settled in, here’s where each of Carolina’s six selections sit with about a month and a half to go until the clock is started:
- Second round: 33rd overall (own)
- Third round: 65th overall (own)
- Fourth round: 100th overall (own)
- Fifth round: 141st overall (via Tennessee Titans)
- Fifth round: 165th overall (via San Francisco 49ers)
- Sixth round: 177th overall (via Arizona Cardinals)
