Updated Injury Report for Texas A&M vs Florida

The injury reports have been updated and the Texas A&M Aggies are in good shape, but Florida’s report is longer than a CVS receipt

The SEC announced prior to the season that teams must follow new guidelines when they report about player’s availability. It’s called the “Availability Report“, and the teams must provide an initial injury report on Wednesday followed by a daily update with the final report 90 minutes before the game.

Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko gave his thoughts on the new process as this week will be the first time the Aggies will need to abide by the new rules this season.

“I think it’s a good thing, as long as there’s some standardized enforcement of how the thing is operated…I think it’s a good thing. I think, obviously, there’s more — it’s becoming more and more like pro football every year. It’s something that’s been around the NFL for a long time and I think it’ll work well in college as well.”
