Updated first pitch time announced for Tennessee baseball in College World Series

Updated first pitch time announced for Tennessee baseball versus LSU in the 2023 College World Series.

Tennessee (43-20) will open play in the College World Series on Saturday versus LSU (48-15) at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.

An updated first pitch time between the Vols and Tigers was announced for 7:40 p.m. EDT. ESPN will televise the matchup.

Mike Monaco (PxP), Kyle Peterson (analyst), Chris Burke (analyst) and Kris Budden (field reporter) are on the call.

Pitcher Andrew Lindsey will start for Tennessee against LSU.

LSU leads the all-time series versus the Vols, 61-29.

Tennessee and LSU played during the regular season. The Tigers won a three-game series, 2-1, at home versus Tennessee March 30-April 1.
