Updated Cardinals draft picks after compensatory selections

The Cardinals have eight selections in the 2022 draft, but five come in the final two rounds.

The Arizona Cardinals received three of the 39 compensatory selections the NFL awarded in the 2022 NFL draft. Those picks are awarded based on free agent gains and losses from last offseason.

They now have eight picks in the draft. They have one selection in the first three rounds, none in the fourth or fifth rounds and then two in the sixth and three in the seventh rounds.

The Cardinals traded their fourth-round pick to the Baltimore Ravens as part of the deal to move up in last year’s draft to select cornerback Marco Wilson. They traded their fifth-round selection to the Philadelphia Eagles to acquire tight end Zach Ertz, who re-signed with the team for three years.

The NFL released the full 2022 draft order, updated with compensatory picks. Below are the selections the Cardinals have.
