The Los Angeles Rams have been favored in all but one game this season. The only time they were underdogs, they beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers easily at home, cruising to a 34-24 victory in Week 3.
When they take the field on Monday night against the Cardinals, though, they’ll be underdogs for the second time. According to Tipico Sportsbook, the Rams are 2.5-point underdogs to Arizona. The over/under sits at 51.5 points, which is on the higher side compared to past Rams games.
They’ve been on the opposite end of the spectrum as the Cardinals when it comes to their record against the spread this year. The Rams are just 5-7 against the spread, while Arizona is among the league leaders at 9-3.
That’s in part because the Cardinals weren’t necessarily viewed as legitimate contenders in the beginning of the season. The Rams were even favored against them in Week 4 when both teams were 3-0.
Los Angeles needs a win to keep its NFC West hopes alive, and the Cardinals can essentially lock up the division by beating the Rams at home Monday night.
