Updated BetMGM odds for Oklahoma to win the men’s basketball national championship

Updated BetMGM odds for the Oklahoma Sooners men’s basketball national championship and Big 12 Championships.

The Oklahoma Sooners men’s basketball program has been on a bit of a hot streak winning four of the last five games. In that stretch, Lon Kruger’s squad defeated three-straight top 10 teams. It started with the Kansas Jayhawks who were in the top 10 at the time. The stumble began and eventually they were knocked out of the top 25 altogether.

The Sooners then followed up that win with a win over their rivals the Texas Longhorns on Jan. 26. They were a top 10 team ranked at No. 5, then game the Alabama Crimson Tide in the Big 12-SEC Challenge. The Sooners took down one of the hottest teams in the country without two of their starters in Austin Reaves and Alondes Williams. That sent the Sooners to the No. 9 spot in the AP Poll before a loss to Texas Tech.

With only six games remaining on the schedule, could be seven if the Baylor game gets added, BetMGM has their updated odds for the National Championship.

The Sooners have the 23rd best odds, not exactly great but better than where they were earlier in the year. They weren’t even listed among the top 30 teams in the country. Their odds to win the conference are fourth-best while they are the fifth-best in the National Championship odds among Big 12 teams.

Big 12 team’s odds

  • Baylor (+300)
  • Texas (+1200)
  • Texas Tech (+1600)
  • West Virginia (+3000)
  • Oklahoma (+4000)

Big 12 Conference Odds

  1. Baylor (-225)
  2. Texas (+500)
  3. Texas Tech (+600)
  4. Oklahoma (+900)
