After narrowly defeating the Denver Broncos on Monday night, the Tennessee Titans are tied atop the AFC South standings following Week 1.

The biggest surprise is that the team tied for first place with the Titans is the Jacksonville Jaguars, who pulled out an upset victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

The Houston Texans dropped their season-opening matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night, landing them in a tie for last place with the Colts.

Here’s a look at where things stand as of right now.

Jacksonville Jaguars (1-0)

Tennessee Titans (1-0)

Indianapolis Colts (0-1)

Houston Texans (0-1)

Interestingly enough, the Titans and Jaguars will meet in Week 2 at Nissan Stadium in a game that will decide who sits atop the division. Tennessee and Jacksonville split their two games in 2019.

As for the Colts, they’ll host the Minnesota Vikings (0-1) in Week 2, while the Texans will have another brutal matchup, this time against the Baltimore Ravens (1-0).

If things work out the way we expect, the Titans should be in first place alone after their upcoming game on Sunday.
