Heading into Week 18 of the NFL regular season, there is one available playoff spot in the AFC. Fortunately for the Pittsburgh Steelers, they are finally not one of those teams still fighting for a playoff spot. However, the Steelers are still going into the final game of the season jockeying for their seeding in the AFC.
As you can see below, the Steelers head into their game this week against the Cincinnati Bengals as the No. 5 seed in the AFC and a wild card team. There is a scenario where the Steelers beat the Bengals and the Baltimore Ravens lose to the Cleveland Browns where Pittsburgh would move up to the No. 3 seed and win the AFC North.
The Denver Broncos currently hold the No. 7 seed but depending how things work out this weekend it could be Denver, the Miami Dolphins or those Bengals in that spot.
As far as the Steelers go, they could play the Los Angeles Chargers in Pittsburgh or the Ravens or Texans on the road.
