The 76ers have hired former Clippers head coach Doc Rivers as head coach, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The franchise brought him to the area on Wednesday to interview him in person and he then watched Game 1 of the 2020 NBA Finals with the team.
Whatever was said between Rivers and the team’s brass was clearly enough to give him the coaching job.
Rivers has had a lot of success as a head coach in the NBA as he brings a career .581 winning percentage and he has a title on his resume as well
