Saturday afternoon’s showdown between the UNC football program and Miami Hurricanes could be a deciding factor in the ACC Coastal Division race. With UNC already 1-0 in conference play, a Miami win would make both teams 1-1 and give the Hurricanes the tiebreaker with just about two months to go.
But a UNC win would mean they continue to control their destiny as they hope to make it back to Charlotte for a shot at the title game.
UNC has won three-straight games in this series and are looking to continue that dominance on Saturday. It won’t be easy, however, as Miami is coming off a bye week after losing two-straight including an upset by Middle Tennessee.
