North Carolina looks to keep a hold of sole possession of first place in the Atlantic Coast Conference when they host Miami on Monday night.
Fresh off a win on Saturday at Virginia, it’s a quick turnaround for the Tar Heels who host the Hurricanes at home just a few weeks after squeaking out a win at Miami. With a 13-3 record in ACC play, North Carolina has a one game lead on Duke going into the week.
And for the Tar Heels, winning out gives them the out-right ACC title as they have one more game left against Duke at the end of the season.
For the Tar Heels, they cant overlook this Miami team who is attempting to end a losing streak. Taking a loss at home would not only hurt their ACC title chances out-right but it would put a small dent in their NCAA Tournament chances as well.
