Both the North Carolina football and basketball programs are after in-state prospect Kendre Harrison, offering the talented recruit over the past year.
While Mack Brown and the football program extended an offer first, the basketball program also offered back in June. Harrison has expressed interest in playing both sports in college and North Carolina is hoping to land the premier talent.
On Friday, Harrison announced that he will be trimming his list of offers down to a final six on June 15th with a social media post. In the post, Harrison included the logos of Alabama, UNC, Georgia, Oregon, Auburn, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Florida State, Tennessee, USC, Notre Dame, Florida, Penn State and Ole Miss.
All are football programs that have offered him.

The 6-foot-7, 243-pound Reidsville native is ranked as the No. 6 player nationally, the No. 1 tight end and No. 2 player in the state of North Carolina per the 247Sports football recruiting rankings. He’s also a top basketball recruit as well, ranking No. 31 nationally.
North Carolina has been in pursuit of this talented two-star athlete for months now and should see their program in the final six. Harrison has made several visits to campus including one a few weeks back.
But they will certainly have some tough competition from some premier football programs.
