North Carolina, now in the AP Top 25 for three weeks, get back on the field this weekend when hosting Pitt on Saturday afternoon.
Heading into week nine with just five games left in the season, Mack Brown and the Tar Heels hold a two game lead in the Coastal Division over numerous 2-2 teams. UNC is the only undefeated (3-0) team in the division and one of just two programs (Clemson) in the conference.
Despite five games left, only three of them come against divisional opponents. The other two are against ranked opponents Wake Forest and NC State.
In total, there are three other ACC teams ranked inside the top-25, including Clemson, Wake Forest and NC State.
