The North Carolina men’s golf team made history Tuesday, becoming the first ACC team with four All-Americans in a season since 1976 per UNC.
Now that the season is over, the UNC golf team has been receiving their flowers after a great season. After tying for third in the NCAA championship, David Ford was named to first-team All-America. Three other Tar Heels join him, with Ryan Burnett, Austin Greaser, and Dylan Menante making the third team.
For the first time in UNC men's golf history, and first time by an ACC team since 1976, four players have earned GCAA All-America honors (1st, 2nd or 3rd team) in the same season. https://t.co/JDge6YW9JP #GoHeels pic.twitter.com/m59Y3vNJeM

It is no shocker that the UNC team produced four all-Americans when you account for their stellar performance this season. The team has shown consistency, winning multiple tournaments around the nation.
The team’s future is bright, led by ACC coach of the year Andrew DiBitetto.
