The UNC football program is getting set for a big game on the road this week as they travel to Durham to take on rival Duke. UNC enters this game at 5-1 overall while Duke is 4-2.
The winner of this game makes a move in the Atlantic Coast Conference coastal division, potentially holding first place for at least a week.
When the two teams meet in primetime, the Tar Heels will hit the field in style in terms of the helmet. The program announced on Wednesday that they will wear chrome helmets for the matchup against the Blue Devils. Here is the reveal of the helmets:

The chrome helmets have a Carolina Blue tint to them with a heel logo that is outlined in black.
UNC has worn chrome helmets in the past before, with a few notable times including 2012 against N.C. State and 2014 against Duke. It’s a sleek touch to the helmet and something fun to have once and a while.
