As North Carolina gets ready for spring practices on the football field, it will be a new-look Tar Heels’ roster going into the 2024 season. Quarterback Drake Maye is among the players departing the program as he’s headed to the NFL draft and now UNC will look to continue their streak of good quarterback play dating back to Sam Howell from the 2019 season.
And while there will be a roster battle for 2024, the future of the position is very important as well.
Mack Brown and North Carolina received good news regarding one player that is considering the program as quarterback prospect Brady Hart has locked in some Spring visits. And one of those is North Carolina.
Here is what Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports wrote on Hart’s recruitment and the visits he has lined up:
Beginning this coming week he’ll be at UCF on March 11, Penn State on March 14, Ohio State on March 19, LSU on March 25, Miami on April 6, North Carolina on April 9 and Florida State on April 16.
“Excited to see these campuses!” Hart added. “And narrow my list of schools down!”
Hart is a Florida native and one of the best prospects out of the state as a 2026 recruit.
The 6-foot-4, 185-pound Hart has 15 offers so far in his recruitment including one from North Carolina. There’s a long way to go until Hart makes a decision in his recruitment but it’s a good sign that UNC is involved this early.
