UNC football tight end Bryson Nesbit earning early draft praise

UNC football tight end Bryson Nesbit earned some praise from ESPN NFL draft analyst Field Yates.

The next few months will be busy for the North Carolina Tar Heels in terms of the roster for the next season. The transfer portal will be active once again with additions and departures but players will also make decisions on their future in terms of the NFL.

UNC will have a few big decisions in terms of the NFL draft and one player that could head to the pros is tight end Bryson Nesbit.

The Charlotte native has made a name for himself the past few seasons and now analysts are starting to take note. The latest is ESPN’s Field Yates who released his top 5 players at each position for the draft.

And at No. 5 for the tight end position was Nesbit:

1. Brock Bowers, Georgia
2. Ja’Tavion Sanders, Texas
3. Mitchell Evans, Notre Dame
4. Erick All, Iowa
5. Bryson Nesbit, North Carolina

Brock Bowers is the standout in this class and the clear-cut player at No. 1on the list. But Nesbit is featured with three other players who are really intriguing prospects.

If Nesbit does leave, a good offseason in the draft process could shoot his stock up even more, especially with his size and ability to line up on the outside or even the slot.
