Mack Brown and the North Carolina Tar Heels have a new recruiting target on their board for the 2025 class and he is an in-state running back.
On Monday, the Tar Heels offered Jacksonville, North Carolina product Demon June a scholarship as part of the 2025 recruiting class. The 5-foot-11, 215-pound running back was offered after a trip to Chapel Hill this past weekend.
The Tar Heels became the eighth program to offer June in his recruitment, joining Toledo, UConn, East Carolina, and Appalachian State among others that are seriously involved in his recruitment right now. He’s visited East Carolina and Georgia Southern so far.

The Tar Heels have 12 commitments in the 2025 class, one that ranks 56th overall by 247Sports at the moment. They have several targets still on their recruiting board but are in need of a running back.
That could be June as they have zeroed in on him as a priority target.
