Mack Brown and the UNC football program have taken a step forward in the recruitment for a four-star wide receiver in the 2024 class.
Georgia product Demello Jones made an update to his recruitment on Monday, cutting his list from 20 offers to a top 10. In doing so, Jones will now focus on Georgia, North Carolina, Miami, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio State, Notre Dame, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt.
The 6-foot-1, 176-pound Jones is a native of Swainsboro, Georgia and is one of the top players in the state for the 2024 class. He’s drawing a lot of interest from top programs across the country.

Jones is rated No. 194 overall, No. 23 at his position and the No. 28 player in the state of Georgia per the 247Sports recruiting rankings. He’s recently visited North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina in his recruitment.
