Saturday’s showdown between the UNC football program and Pitt will have a big impact in the Atlantic Coast Conference Coastal Division. And when the two teams do meet, it will be in front of a packed house at Kenan Memorial Stadium.
UNC announced this week that Saturday’s home game against Pitt is officially a sell-out. The news comes as UNC is fresh off a bye week at 6-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play. To say this is a big game is an understatement as it could change the trajectory of each team’s season as the calendar is getting set to flip over to November.

In addition to improving to 7-1 and 4-0 in the conference, UNC is looking for some revenge as well. The Tar Heels lost on the road at Pitt last year in a weird Thursday night game.
And they’d love nothing more than to get a big win over Pitt in front of a sold out crowd.
