Heading into this game, UNC needed to change something. In the last two weeks, James Madison dropped 70 points on them followed by losing a 20-point lead on the road to Duke in their conference opener. Today, they went back to Kenan Stadium for North Carolina‘s homecoming game.
For the third straight game, the Tar Heels football team was embarrassed by a mediocre team. They held with Pittsburgh for most of the game going back and forth. They were tied 17-17 at the halftime break and tied 24-24 at the end of the third quarter. However, UNC couldn’t finish the ball game. They gave up 10 points in the fourth quarter without scoring at all.
UNC Fans left the game with one sentiment on their minds.
